Pearce Pride Cards

In our class, we have a reward system called Pearce Pride Cards. I created "business cards" that all say Pearce Pride. I used different fonts to make the cards more appealing and interesting (the kids try to collect certain fonts). You can either use business cards that you can print out on or you can create your own rectangular cards on MS Word using the table feature and printing the document on cardstock and cutting the cards apart.

The students earn Pearce Pride cards for positive things- all at my discretion. I may give a Pearce Pride card on a random day for a student having his/her homework turned in on time or assignment book signed. I also hand out cards for positive behavior and any other positive actions I want to reinforce. About every two weeks the students are able to redeem their cards at our Pearce Pride Redemption Center. It is like "Chuckie Cheese" or the Classroom Economy- I have bins labeled with card amounts and students can redeem their cards for items in the bins. I have small Happy Meal toys, little things from Oriental Trading or the Dollar Store, small donations from parents and Homework Passes.
